·          Be able to pass a criminal background and Adult/Child Protective Service check.

·          Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and have an available automobile with state required auto insurance.

·          Be able to meet the Agency’s lifting requirement of 70 pounds.

·          **ALL ENCOR STAFF MUST ATTEND DAY-TIME TRAINING** 

(Training is typically 2 Fridays in a row and a 3 day Med Training class offered one time per month Tue., Wed., and Thurs.)

Responsible for the direct supervision of assigned residential settings and the developmentally disabled persons residing in those settings.  Must meet requirements listed under Residential Assistant, plus have 1 year paid experience working with developmentally disabled persons.  Must be able to work all hours, and will be on a 24 hour on call.

 

Responsible for all programmatic and assigned production activities for persons served in the vocational program.  Train and supervise staff working with persons served in the vocational program.  Must meet requirements listed under Residential Assistant plus have 1 year paid experience in working with developmentally disabled persons. Must possess a valid driver’s license with no moving violations in the last 12 months, no chargeable accidents in the last 24 months, and no DUI’ in the last 5 years.  Must have 20/40 actual or corrected vision. Responsible for independently implementing the nursing process and administers skilled professional nursing services, care, and leadership while providing, delegating, evaluating and coordinating comprehensive professional nursing care.  This person will be responsible for the assessing, planning, securing and delivery of health and habilitation supports for individuals, and will accept responsibility for the direction, monitoring, and delegation of activities related to the provision of medication and additional activities by medication aides.  State of Nebraska licensed Registered Nurse or current RN licensure from a state participating in the “multistage privilege to practice” compact with Nebraska plus two years experience as a RN.  Must meet a 70 pound lifting requirement, have a valid driver’s license in good standing, car and car insurance.  Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsible for designing, implementing, operating and monitoring a planned program which includes a variety of services to meet the needs of the older people the center serves.  Duties include supervising staff and volunteers.  Education or experience in gerontology, human services or related field required. Must have a high School Diploma or GED, meet a 25 pound lifting requirement, and have a driver’s license in good standing, car and car insurance.  Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM. 






 

Provide seniors 65 and older meeting Medicaid and long-term care eligibility with home and community based services.  Baccalaureate degree in Human Services or related field or Registered Nurse required.  Also must have 2 years paid experience in long-term care, gerontology or rehab health/disability case management.  Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing, car and car insurance.  Monday to Friday, day hours.

 

 

Provide Coordination of activities relating to the Rural Transportation Program.  High school diploma or GED, ability to meet a 70 pound lifting requirement, driver’s license in good standing with have no moving violations in the last 12 months, no chargeable accidents in the last 24 months, and never have been convicted of a DUI.  Must have 20/40 actual or corrected vision, car and car insurance.  Monday to Friday, Day hours.





 

Provide transportation in an agency van for persons served by the Office on Aging.  Must be 19 years of age.  Must have a high school diploma, GED, or a minimum of 1 year professional driving experience.   Must possess a valid driver’s license and have no moving violations in the last 12 months, no chargeable accidents in the last 24 months, and never have been convicted of a DUI.  Must have 20/40 actual or corrected vision.  Must meet a 70 pound lifting requirement.  Weekly hours vary, Monday to Friday 6am to 5pm.
